When I come to a stoplight, my engine begins to overheat, although not much past the middle mark. I've had the radiator flushed and filled, new head gasket installed, new thermostat, etc. I think I have a problem with my Idle Control Valve, the car runs a little rough at stops. Could this be causing the engine overheating issue, i.E. Low flow of coolant due to low idling? Problem is more pronounced when the A/C is on. Both fans work, not sure if they're kicking at the right temp though? Any ideas? Thanks.

I would have the cooling system pressure checked. There could be a leak in the system that does not necessarily result in a loss of coolant but rather allows air in to the system. One example is a crack in the radiator.

The rough idle. I would be pulling off each plug wire and seeing if one of them being off results in little change in the way the engine runs. You could be needing a new set of plugs or wires. Don't forget to look at the air filter as well.
