The (sports light) located at the panel always turned on even without pushing the switch. Your advised is to check the PGMI-FI relay. Can I just cut the wire so that the sports drive will no longer be used? If yes, what will be the effect? Does it affect the performance of my car?

Hi fperalta74,

The sports mode allows the transmission to upshift at a later rpm and a quicker downshift.

If the switch is the cause of the light staying on, you can unplug the connector under the console.

With the Sports mode off, the vehicle would perform as normal and is not going to affect anything.
