Hi 2carpros, my 1993 honda accord has a problem with the ac, I bought it two years ago and the ac was working perfectly and then after a year it stated when you switch it on it stays on for few seconds and then the whole system shut down completely even the fans, at the end this made the ac control unity dead. I bought a used one (ac con unity) it staid for tw weeks and it repeated the same behavior as before and then at the end the second ac control unity went dead again. Please advice me where the problem could be or what I should replce. Thanks guys.

Hi kuzilwa,

I am not familar with your description of the parts replaced. Was it the AC compressor?

When the fans stops working as well, then the compressor clutch relay is not being powered and it could be the relay or the grounding at the ECM.

It could also be the control or a bad thermistor.

You need to test what is causing the AC relay not to work, no power supply, a bad relay or ground.
