ok I had a over heating problem but the car would still start we replaced a hose that was bad and cracked but we had to take the distributor to replace it. We thought it might have been the ECU or TCU so I replaced both. But it still isn't starting. It turns over fine i'm just getting a trouble code from the shift light on the dash but not from the ECU. Please tell me if it could be the distributor?

Hi morgonna,

The shift light blinking and non starting are usually caused by a faulty PGM-FI main relay.

Did you check if the spark plug wires were correctly installed?
Are you getting sparks at the plug wires?

If you had removed the thermostat housing, recheck the ground wire installation on the housing.
