Il go out to start my car in the morning and the sound it makes when it starts has completely changed its a really odd sound like at random times it sounds like a puff of air is released in the engine bay.

Whats even more disturbing is that the idle has gone down from 1300 to about 600-800 and its getting lower each day to the point of almost stalling.

Iv always had to floorboard the motor to make it do anything but now when I do that it stalls the motor out and I have no idea why. Also its eating 3 quarts of 25-50 oil every 2 days. I need assistance. Lol

Hi bullhorn7,

The puff or air being released should be a misfiring and that is the reason for the lcak of power and symptoms of stalling and the low idling speed.

3 quarts of oil consumption means either the engine is leaking very badly or the exhaust is as good as a fogging machine.

The engine requires a major makeover.
