My brake lights will stay on after the ignition is off. I was told that the the brake light switch needs to be adjusted or replaced how do I go about doing that?

Follow the brake pedal arm till it meets up at the brake support bracket its there-while brake is being applied the plunger should extend and not being depress by the arm-

Switch located near the brake pedal,
look for a worn/missing plastic pad which keeps the switch pressed and so the light 'off' and is available as a replacement part. As a short term fix put a few wraps of thick tape on the pedal to fill the hole
