1987 Honda Accord idles too fast

My accord idles too fast - right around 2,000 RPM. It is fuel injection. Also, it is hard too start when it is cold. Don't know if these problems are connected. Where should I start

The problem is most probably caused by a leaking vacumn and this can cause difficult starting as well as the mixture would be lean.

Check the PCV and any other vacumn hoses for leakages. It could be the inlet manifold gasket as well.
