I attached all the info on this code. Basically I suspect you have a wiring issue. What this code is telling you is the variable valve solenoid is not reporting the correct voltage which could just be a relay or a possible wiring issue.

However, the only way to know what the issue is that is causing this is to run through this testing. Let us know if you have questions. Thanks

Hi, I have A 15 Sonata 2.4 with p1075 only have 2.1 volts on yellow wire at VVT traces it back to computer but that’s all that’s coming out of the computer. Would you suspect bad computer?

That would not be the issue on this specific code. Basically this code is telling you that the VVT relay control circuit has an issue.

More than likely there is a relay issue or a wiring issue on the control side.

So the 2.1 volts coming from the PCM to the VVT is the command position of the variable valve actuator. So the PCM changes the voltage on this circuit to command the valve to a different position.

Here is the testing that we need to run through in order to find this issue. Unfortunately these are not the most obvious issues so let's do this testing below and see what we get.

Here is a guide if you or others need help with how to test wiring:

Below are the attachments for this testing.

Thanks
