High beams stopped working

Why would both my high beams go out at the same time? I do not believe it is the bulbs. I am not even sure what kind of headlight bulbs this car takes since I have not had to replace any since I bought it in February. A male friend of mine said it would be a fuse or one of those big square black relays or something. He was looking directly under the hood.

Try a new dimmer relay in the under hood fuse block.
This diagram shows where it is located. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
