Heating system problem

Hello,

Just to clarify, if the blower motor functions but it is not blowing hot air, it can be due to few different issues.

First of all, make sure the coolant is at the correct level as low coolant can have insufficient circulation thru the heater core, which will lead to the heater blowing cool air.

Another issue is if you have a stuck open thermostat the coolant will not get to the operating temperature, that will also make the air cool.

Also, the blend door actuator could be stuck at the cool position. The blend door actuator is what controls the flow of air from hot to cold and cold to hot.

Another possibility is a clogged heater core, which is not flowing coolant due to internal restriction or blockage.
