The heat and the defroster blow hot air on passenger side, but only blows cold air on driver side. The two vents in the middle the driver side blows cold air, while the passenger side blows hot air.

There is a blend door motor under the driver side of the dash that is the most common reason for this failure. I attached pictures and procedures for the replacement (BELOW).

Procedure

Temperature Blend Door Actuator - LH

Removal and Installation

NOTE: It is not required to install the new LH temperature blend door linkage parts included in the LH temperature blend door actuator service part kit if only the temperature blend door actuator requires replacement and the linkage parts are not broken or binding.

LH temperature blend door actuator and linkage

1. Remove the steering column trim panel.

- Remove the 2 steering column opening trim panel screws.

- Disengage the steering column opening trim panel from the retaining clips.

- Disconnect the electrical connector and aspirator hose, if equipped.

2. Remove the 3 LH temperature blend door actuator screws.

3. Disconnect the LH temperature blend door actuator electrical connector.

4. Remove the LH temperature blend door actuator.

5. Manually operate, and inspect the LH temperature blend door linkage for incorrect placement, binding or damage.

6. Detach the 2 retaining tabs and remove the LH temperature blend door linkage.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.
