Hello,

The clicking noise could be from the blend door actuator.
The blend door actuator is what controls the hot and cool air flow/mix.
The actuator can get stuck on the hot or the cool side and create no heat or no A/C.
Clicking noise is when it is trying to work but unable to switch over.

The blend door actuator is located behind the passenger side instrument panel.

Keep in mind that if the actuator gets replaced, the new one will need to be programmed to the vehicle. Which will need a scan tool.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

It is somewhat of a common issue with these vehicles. Could be the design of the actuator along with amount of force it is required for it to move the blend door.

Let me know if you run into something or if you have any questions.
