Trying to save my parents some money on a handicap vehicle they bought for transporting my sister. The rear of van has great heat, the front has none. I replace the heat door actuator, the old one had stripped gears. Before putting in the new I made sure it moved Greeley and sprung back. Put in new one and stil no heat up front. Pulled new one to make sure it didn't strip, which it didn't. Put it back in again and still no heat. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check voltage circuits at actuator? I looked at info for blend door actuator. Red wire goes hot with key on and it is fused circuit. The black wire is ground, check it the way you would any ground. The gray wire comes from control module, It appears to be a variable resistance circuit, Depending on how you turn the knob, the resistance on that circuit goes up or down.

Yes I checked that, as well as making sure that the dc motor in the actuator was good itself.

You seemed to think it was the actuator? Not sure what else to tell you? The blower motor works? Any applicable hvac codes? The heater core is hot with fully warmed up engine? I can't think of anything else?

I assumed it was actuator because of heat in the rear and clicking noise behind radio. At normal operating temp the hoses to heater core are warm. As far as codes in running it out tomorrow to get checked. The check engine light was already on due to ofc valve that I also replaced, however computer didn't have time to reset yet. Thanks for the help, if you think of anything else I would appreciate it. I'm stumped on this one, thought for sure the actuator would have fixed it.
