Does this car have a heat control valve

Does the car listed above have a heat control valve and if so where is it? Every thing I read says "if it has a control valve" it should be just forward of the firewall. I don't see one.

Thank you. I have no heat. However, the car runs fine does not overheat. There is no fluid going to the heater core. Is it possible the water pump can cool the engine without circulating anything through the heater core? I flushed the core, sent water through the lines everything is open.

If you remove the lines while it is running, is there fluid flowing out the lines?

If there is not, I suspect a clogged hose or the intake manifold for being rusted up.

If there is fluid flow, how do the hoses feel with them hooked up?

When I remove the lines there is no fluid flow. I put water through both ways while the hoses were disconnected and it flowed freely in both directions. When connected the hose that goes to the water pump is cool and the hose to the block is hot. When I had the hose disconnected from the water pump, with the car running nothing came out.

Okay, remove the hose from the water pump and make sure the passage is open for fluid to come out.

Remove the other line from the intake and see if the fitting is clear. If it is, then use a coat hanger and see if you can get it inside the head.

You have a blockage somewhere.

I can't do it right now, I'm at work. I will do it as soon as I can. I thank you for your help.I didn't understand how I could get water flow both ways. Out of the water pump and back out of the block if something were plugged when I had both hoses disconnected. That's why I asked if it were possible for the water pump to cool the engine and not circulate water through the core. That's also why I asked if there were a valve to control the flow. So I take it if the water pump is cooling the engine, it should be sending fluid through the heater core with out question.

No, if it is cooling the engine, do not assume the heater core is getting fluid. You have a blockage somewhere in the system. The water goes into the core from the intake manifold and returns to the water pump.

Thank you for your help. My heater is now working. I wonder if you can help me with one more thing. The pipe that the hose connects to ( the one that pushes into the heater nipple where it comes out of the engine looks a little bent. It also has two other hoses from the throttle body connected to it also. Do you know where I can order a new one. That would sure help. I think I have a leak when it's running, not leaking when it's parked
