Hard reverse shifting

My car is very hard to engage reverse while others is okay.

To clarify when you put the transmission in reverse it takes a long time to go into gear or it bangs?

Sometimes it engage from first or second attempt, sometimes not and when trying to engage reverse it go to first.

Okay, it sounds like you have a turbine speed sensor that is going out, but to be sure lets run the codes.
