A/C became warm and no longer blows cool air?

For the last couple weeks I noticed my A/C wasn’t as cold. The other day I got onto the highway and as I accelerated to higher speed, the A/C became warm and no longer blows cool air. After this happened the mechanic said I need a new condenser. Any thoughts/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Here is the information you requested. Once you replace the A/C condenser you will need to vacuum and charge the system. Here are the tutorials showing what is involved:
