When you drive it it goes into low power mode, I lose acceleration and the car will shut off. The last couple of weeks it's really gotten bad to where when the car goes in low power mode it will shut the whole car down. We have tried to find the problem but no one seems to know what it causing the problem.

I have replaced many many many battery cable assemblies for issues similar to this. The issue is specifically the ground side cable. If the insulation on the cable looks melted near the terminal then it’s bad and cannot handle the electrical loads that is needed. Start the car, turn the a/c on high, headlights on bright and turn on any other electrical accessories then feel how hot the ground cable gets, if it’s hot then you’ll either need to replace it or add another ground from engine to body and body to battery negative. This is one possibility
