GMC Sonoma

I have a 92 sonoma and the top door hinge on the drivers side is worn. The whole hinge needs to be replaced not just the pin and bushings. How can I replace or fixed the damaged hinge?

Is your hinge bolted in place or welded? If it is welded I would recommend taking it to a good body shop. The bolt in type are well within the capabilities of the average do it yourselfer. I do recommend that you put masking tape accross one of the body seams prior to taking the door hinge off so you can use the tape as an alignment aid after your new hinge is instaled.
