Will crank very well, but will not start/fire. Noticed daylight driving lights do not come on, they did once then it started, then wouldn't come back on again, while jiggling the key, shift lever. Shife lever will not shift out of park when key is on. Is this a ignition switch problem, a fuse, or a sensor somewhere?

Welcome to the forum. With the engine cranking, I'd check for spark at the plugs. If good spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. I may be barking up the wrong tree, but, I start with the basics? Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage. You can call and ask. As far as checking for spark, you can pull a spark plug boot, stick known good plug in boot, ground metal part od plug to metal part of engine, watch for spark at tip of plug.
