I was camping yesterday when parked my truck and came back to it 10 minutes later to move it and it would not start. It turned over just fine but it seemed like it was not getting fuel. I called someone to pull me back onto the main road so I could load it onto a trailer. While I was in tow I kept trying to start the truck. After about a mile or so it started and has run fine ever since. I start it every couple of hours and it fires right up. I am going to change the fuel filter but I am concerned it might be the fuel pump. Will a fuel pump just quit working then start again. I have had a Superchips programmer on the truck for a few years now. Could this have caused some glitch in the computer? It did not throw any codes or anything.

Check your fuel pressure to rule out the fuel pump and fuel filter. Sometimes a fuel pump works in mysterious ways when it heats up. Also doesn't like it when not being submerge in fuel.
