1998 GMC Sierra Door

The driver's door will not open from the inside using the door handle. The door can be opened using the door handle on the outside of the truck. The doors are on a remote entry system as well and it still works. How can this be fixed? Thanks.

You need to remove the trim panel and inside the door, there are steel rods that connec the handles and locks, the one for the inside handle has popped off, it may need a new retaining clip at the end.
