1995 GMC Sierra Overheating

Trouble overheating. New radiator new heater core new thermostat changed water pump a yr. Ago. Top radiator hose staying cool even after over heating. I flushed the engine and radiator. Is it possible that the water pmp could be bad! Dont think its a head gasket cuz it runs fine and no water in the oil. Please help.

It is either a bad water pump or thermostat. Maybe even plugged coolant passages on the engine since the upper radiator hose is cool.
