1999 GMC Safari air only comes out of deforst

the air only comes out of the deforst vent. ac works but does not come out of front of ip not matter what i have the control set to

There is avcuum line that goes from the passenger side of the engine compartment to the drivers side of the engine where it hooks to a vacuum source.You will find itis broken , most likely on the engine.If you pop the hood. the small black plastic line will come out of the firewall on the pass. side, and cross to the drivers side of the engine.
