'03 sunfire slx, has a leak in the washer fluid tank, is it very hard to replace the tank? I havn't looked into it but it is located under my battery I don't think my" bumper to bumper" warranty will cover this.
Thanks for your time.

Did you enquire at your local GM dealer if your warranty will/ will not cover this?
These little tanks are made of some pretty strong plastic. They don't just leak after a couple of years.
What you can try to check for is the black hose that leads up to your wipers. Check and make sure that the hose is pushed onto the output shaft 100%.
This will be located on the side, close to the bottom.
Perhaps this is the reason you are saying the tank is leaking.
The pump itself should also have a rubber seal as it feeds through the bottle. Make sure that it is pushed down as far as it will go.

Thanks, kenvcr I will be going to the dealership to see exactly what's covered. In hindsight, yes I think it must be a tube issue. The pump is working but has hardly no press. It seems the only way to access the reservoir is from underneath the car below the battery shelf. I wish I could get some parts diags. For this car, but it's still too young for Hanes or Chilton.
Thanks for you input, Eric.
