Hazards & Turn Signals Work Intermittently

Lately, the hazard lights and turning signals have been working intermittently on my 2002 Grand Am. Sometimes they work fine, sometimes only left turn signal acts up (light flashes really fast on that side), sometimes there is a solid (not flashing) light, sometimes signals or hazards do not work at all. Any suggestions as to what I should check? Oh ya. And sometimes if I click the hazard light button a few times on and off, they will start working.

You may have a bad thermal flasher. In the interior fuse panel (on the GA it's usually on the drivers side of the dash panel next to the door) there is a round metal container. This is the thermal flasher. A replacement should be about $3.00 -- Try replacing this first.
