Hi,

My box van/truck is stalling, especially when giving it gas. I noticed that the power was going in & out, so to speak, a few days ago when driving. It'll start up fine after sitting a while, I'll put it in gear (still idling fine) and then as soon as I press on the gas it stalls. Then, in order to start her back up, I have to press the gas all the way down to the floor. So, I've decided to replace the fuel filter which I thought would be easy, but now I'm hearing that there's 2 fuel filters.

I located the spin-on fuel filter right by the gas tank (Napa Gold 3124), but I understand that there's supposed to be another fuel filter on this vehicle. Is it inside the carburetor? Does anyone have the part number? Any tips on what else could be causing the problem?

Thanks!

The filter you're looking for is in the fuel tank called pick up screen/sock-for your stalling-check the idle air control valve/EGR valve and throttle position/MAF/MAP sensors-might also want to confirm the fuel pressure is within specifications
