Electrical problem
1989 Other GMC Models Four Wheel Drive Automatic 192400 miles

We replaced the rear airconditioner fuse on our GMC Suburban. This blew in a short time. All of the lights on the dashboard started going out. The fuel gage rose. If you turn the lights on to drive it buzzes like you left your lights on. Also if you have the lights on the alternator chrg acts like it is dead.

Chargethe battery and check to see if it is any good or not. Most auto parts stores do this for free. This could be effecting your vehicle as far as the lights. You'll need to checkto see if your rear a/c is has a short someplace or barewire/bad motor etc. Then get your charging system checked as well after the battery is found to be good.
