2000 GMC Jimmy hello

I wasn't sure what category to pick. I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy, my gas gauge is not reading proprely, I can put 15gals and it will read full and then it will read low fuel when I stop and dive sometimes. Any suggestions.

Check the fuel pump connector for proper fit and for corrosion, you could also have a bad guage or sending unit in the tank.

To check disconnect sensor and turn key on, then ground it out and turn key on.

What do u find with the guage?
