If the fuel relay has a loose connection, will it mess up the fuel pump? If so, is there a way to open up the fuse block and put new plugs inside the block? I have a fuse block for a s-10 truck that has good plugs in it but it doesn't match up completely to mine, so could I open it and get plugs out of one to put in another?

The problem you have here is that you may have a couple of different years with different suppliers. It may or may not fit. Most times the problem is the connection, not the box. And those are fixable. You can usuall buy the connectors at the dealer. Take the bad one out repair the wire to connector and reinstall it.
