1996 GMC Jimmy won't go into 4 wheel drive

I have a 1996 Jimmy. Has a push button 4wheel drive and will not go in to 4 wheel drive. I had a small fire underneath the hood. I was wondering if there were vacuum lines that engages or disengages 4 wheel drive. I have a couple vacuum lines by the firewall that got burned up that go into the transmission I have no idea where they go? Can anyone help me?

Im not too familiar with that year, although I did have a 2000 with the same set up. Your best bet is to get a chiltons and follow the vacuum line routing diagram, Its only about 20 bucks and its a good investment.
