The high speed on my air conditioner fan has stopped working. All other speeds work fine. Don't want to just blindly go replacing parts. Can anyone give me a clue where to start?

I've also go a Nissan Xtera that only blows air when set on the 4th position. I assume the two cars have a similar problem.

First check the fuse in the underhood fuse block, its #35, because speed #5 is fused and runs throught the relay that is part of the blower resistor, if the fuse is good, check the blower resistor connector, they get burnt, if it is replace the resistor and connector. Post back with what you find.
