I had a similar problem. The P0122 error code is an indication that the computer has either low voltage or lost its reference signal from the TPS sensor. About an inch a way from the TPS connector, try taking the insulation off the middle conductor wire on the TPS sensor. Take the reference point from the negative of the battery. At key on or at idle the voltage should be around.66 volts. While you are watching the volt meter, try wiggling the TPS connector and see if the voltage goes to zero. If it does, you might try replacing the connectors inside the F-connector. On my Bonneville, I had to replace the middle connector pin and tighten the ground pin connector. The dealer wanted $25.00 for the TPS connector and that's why I ended up repairing the individual pin connectors. I noticed that once the computer loses the TPS voltage signal, the idle is all of the place and was hard starting. Also the RPMs are all over the place and the car shifts at the wrong speed. Good Luck.
