1995 GMC C1500 Brake Light and Service Engine Light

When you go foward or backwards the anti brake light comes on and it stays on until you cut the motor off and after you drive it about 5 miles the service engine light comes on and it stays on until you cut the motor off. I had it put on a machine and they said it showed that nothing was wrong.

There is a chance the scanner they used may not read codes for things other than engine components. It sounds like a bad abs sensor on one of the wheels or a bad connection. Check for connections to the ABS sensors on both the front and rear.
