I have 1997 gmc 1500 4wd 98000 miles can not get the 4wd to work in 4hi I have put a new trasfercase motor and a new axel motor to fuse are good to is there somthing iam missing

This may sound retarded, But when you are trying to put youre truck iinto 4 wheel drive, Have u locked youre hubs, Then also have you truck into N, Then try selecting youe 4 wheel drive into gear.
