Hello, I recently replaced the intake manifold gaskets on my 96 1500. I got everything back together okay but when I went to fire it up the engine turned over but didn't start. Had gas at rails but no spark at plug ends. I checked the wiring harness and all connections/grounds. I also checked for battery voltage at the coil, coil driver, and distributor, everything checked out okay. What else can I check?

Thx for the reply. I checked all the connectors and sensors when it didn't fire the first time. I tested the ignition coil and everything checked out fine, what I am thinking is that when I installed the distributor into the motor, the gear spun and its off a tooth from where it was. Could this be causing the no fire from the ignition system?

Even if the valve and ignition timing is off and the ignition system is good it will produce a spark-It'll probably combustion but won't start that's if you understand what I'm trying to say.
