Okay, just replaced radiator due to leak, done. Then found water pump leaking, replaced. Now the temperature is reaching 240+ and not sure why? I can sit in neutral for thirty minutes with AC running and it is at 210 the whole time. When I drive it and stop for a couple minutes at a red light and it starts moving up in temperature. No lights or engine light but not wanting to get it that hot. Any ideas?

Good afternoon.

Did you replace the thermostat?

Did you bleed the system of air?

Start the engine, remove the radiator cap and let it run. Run the engine at 1,200 rpm and make sure you have heat. Watch the coolant level as well.
