Gear shifting problem

After setting my car on drive, gear 1 and 2 automatically picks up but as soon as it reaches third gear, the car has some friction and produces a sound. It doesn't pull easily until it reaches the fourth gear. But as soon as you slow down, the process repeats making it very hard to drive at a long distance. Please what do you think could be the problem?

Hello,

This is common when the input shaft speed sensor goes out. to be sure we should run the codes. also can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Here is the sensor location in case it is the problem below:
