Hello Andrin,

Here are the wiring diagrams for the transmission which show the power and grounds for the system. Do you have any trouble codes? Here is a guide to help gather any that are stored:

I have seen the electrohydraulic unit on the side of the transmission go bad FYI. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

That is a lot of codes! I have seen the IPM cause this issue. I would swap it out and then clear the codes to see if it fixes it. Disconnect the battery first, the IPM does not need programming, you might want to try to find a used one on eBay. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

I agree on this 10000% you are very correct, firstly I will try to repair if not then replace.

Does this IPM got a CPU inside, if it’s a module then it has.

If you could provide me with more diagrams on this module, I can try my best to fix it before thinking of replacing it. Power ground, network diagram signals.
I can try to make it work, as it stands now D does not engage, not even R.

I also noticed last week a relay to send power to the TCM, after removing the relay with the key on run position, I could not find any power on any pins.

Yes the IPM is a module with various tasks. Here are the power inputs and outputs so you can make sure it is getting power. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

Hi Ken, after a closer inspection, I can bet this problem is caused by ABS module not showing on the network, because the gear shifter module and the transmission module both complain of losing communication with the ABS, when scanning, the ABS does not appear.
So, I would like to get the high can and low can diagrams power and grounding for the ABS unit. What voltages am I to find on the high can and low can?

Take a look at this chat. Notice the ABS is not onboard, and the electronic shift gear is reporting one fault. And that is not getting communication with ABS.

Did you check the power outputs from the IPM? See if you have power at these fuses:

Sounds good, if you have no power at fuse f21 then the IPM is bad.

Hi Ken, I checked and noticed it’s hot even when the key is off. Does this mean the IPM is okay? What I am sure is truly the problem why the gears don’t engage and shift on D, it’s the ABS module which is either not on the network or bad. Any method I can use to verify the integrity of the ABS module.
