About four days ago my car started hesitating like it was running out of gas. Yesterday it would turn over but not start. In the process of turning over the car will almost start but as soon as you release the key it shuts off. Not sure if it is getting fuel. I already checked all the fuel system fuses and they are good.

Hello there and thanks for using 2CarPros.com. You will next need to run a fuel pressure test if you think the pump failed. Here is a little article to help guide you through the process if you are up to testing it yourself. You will need a fuel pressure testing kit.

Hello, I am Danny.

As stated prior you should test the fuel pressure. You can rent one from your local auto part stores. It should be at 51 P.S.I. Here is a little article to help guide you through the process if you are up to testing it yourself. You will need a fuel pressure testing kit. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
