When I replace the fuel pump, do I have to replace the whole fuel pump assembly or just buy a new fuel pump?

Hello, I'm Danny.

That really all depends on how much money you want to spend.Buying just the fuel pump itself will save money but will add an extra hour in labor as opposed to just replacing the entire unit. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved in replacing an in tank pump like you have:

If you are interested or going to replace this yourself I can attach repair steps for your particular car if interested.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
