Will not crank after replacing fuel pump

The truck listed above is a crew cab. I replaced the fuel pump and went to crank the truck and it acts like it's shutting off, it won't run it turned over to crank it's getting too much fuel. I need help please. Four hours before changing the fuel pump while the fuel pump was cool it ran fine turn it off change the fuel pump now it will not only tries to crank but will not run.

What was the issue with the original fuel pump? How do you know it is getting excessive fuel?
If you had the battery disconnected it would have reset the idle speed and adaptive fuel trims back to the baseline. If the throttle body is dirty along with that reset you would need to hold the throttle open a bit and try to drive it so it can relearn the idle speed. I would start by cleaning the throttle body, then see if it will start/run without needing to play with the throttle.

This is not on your vehicle but it shows what a cleaning involves. The 4.7 is a lot easier.
