After replacing the fuel pump, the fuel gauge stopped working

Hello,

Did the new pump come with a fuel level sending unit?
It could be due to a faulty sending unit on the new pump or there is a loose connection for the sending unit.
Is the pump working properly?
Did you have this issue before the pump replacement?

No. I did not have this problem before having the pump installed by AAA.

So, this is likely due to having a sending unit issue with the new pump.
If the work was done recently, it should be covered under warranty.
I would suggest calling the shop and let them know about the issue.
