Replaced fuel pump, took it for test drive and it started backfiring. Unplugged mass air flow and ran great yesterday. Went out this morning and it will not crank.

Hello,

This could be a problem with the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. I believe the vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM) needs to know how much air is entering the engine to know the amount of fuel to inject. Nevertheless, I have included a couple of links for you to go through down below. They should help you pinpoint your vehicle's problem. Please go through them and let us know what you find out.

Thank you for the information. My husband's working twelve hours a day this week. So as soon as he has time to check this out I will let you know what happens.
