After swapping out the engine it ran briefly then shut off

Did a whole engine swap. Start the truck, it started ran, and cut back off. We then got a fuel pump put it in and nothing. Could it be the pressure regulator? What else do we check and how? Is it something with this fuel going on? Please help!

May be a security reset problem try that first, as some shut off fuel others fuel and ignition or both. See link.
