Fuel Problem

I ran out of gas a day ago and for the first time poured and refilled my one gallon gas can three times for it to turn on. today i ran out and again did the same thing except this time it did not want to start up. it sounds like it wants to turn over but it wont. help me please! The engine is in great condition.

you may have fried the fuel pump in tank as it uses fuel to lube it. try banging bottom of tank with flat of hand or rubber mallet then put more gas in and it may start. if not scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it.
