Fuel gauge fluctuation

Fuel gauge shifts from full to empty.
Does fuel float in gas tank? Also ac as a fuel pump? Where is the float located and replaced if it is is problem.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, the fuel pump and the sender are all one unit together that is mounted inside the fuel tank.You will have to drop the fuel tank from car to gain access.Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:
