Where is the fuel filter located?

I can't seem to find the fuel filter location!

Like many newer vehicles it doesn't have a replaceable filter on its own, instead it has a sock on the pump inlet and a filter all built into the fuel pump module in the tank. Normally you don't change them unless there is a fuel flow problem. If there is an issue you can replace the pump module by removing the rear seat cushion and the access plate under it. Disconnect the lines and power connection. Then use a lock ring tool to remove the retainer. Then remove the module. Install the new module (Nissan 170403TA0D) and reverse the process to install it.
