Fuel filter location and diagram needed

The fuel filter on this vehicle is a strainer in the tank on the pump.

Basically, you don't need to change it unless there is a fuel pressure issue which means there is something in the tank that is clogging the filter. This means you would need to remove the tank anyway to address that issue where you will change the filter.

Check the pressure on this system just to find out if there is an issue with this.
