I drove my car up to my house to clean it, I finished cleaning and then parked it. I went to leave my house and the car started fine but I would shift into drive and there was no power when I pushed the pedal down. It was like it was idling. I shifted back into park and tried to rev the engine and was still idling. I let it sit for ten minutes with the car off and tried to start it and it would turn over but it would not start. I put oil in thinking there might be a low oil sensor from keeping it from running right and I reset the oil-r button. Still will not start. It ran fine earlier and now nothing. It is very hot outside, FYI.

Hello,

Please turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over you should hear the fuel pump prime in the tank for five seconds?

Is the security light flashing? We should run the codes to see what comes up.

Hi Ken, thanks for the reply. I turned the key and the security light does not flash and there is no engine light. But it does say check engine soon but that also popped up when the car was functioning properly a few days ago. Yesterday I checked the spark and fuel pressure and the two seem to be fine.

Perfect, can you run the codes to see what comes up? This can guide us to what the problem is.
