Front quick struts

My car listed above GLS front strut assembly has alignment marks. On lower strut, insulator, and white dot on insulator cover. What are these for? Does it mean it has to go in a particular way? Specifically the top insulator. Does it have to be in a particular direction IE has slight angle or something. Also in the parts diagram there is only a nut at the very top of the strut. Quick struts already have a nut on top below insulator cover, then another nut. Should there be 2 nuts or one? These are very strange strut mounts than what I am used to. Thanks.

Good afternoon,

Can you upload a picture of what you see?

The struts are plug and plays. There is not any alignment adjustments for the struts. They just bolt up and that's it.

Actually I meant to attach picture but didn't go through. Your answer is not quite what I was looking for. I will attach picture in a little while. To put it another way. Let's say rebuilding struts. The factory and aftermarket have alignment marks put in when assembling a mark at lower end of strut then upper insular (or mount) then a mark on insulator cover. Thanks
